Brand History

2012
iFi Audio was launched by AMR to bring high-end audio quality to portable devices, applying advanced AMR technology to more affordable, smaller products.

2014-2015
iFi's product lines, like the Micro and Nano series, began gaining traction. These include the iFi iDSD Micro, a versatile DAC/headphone amplifier that delivered audiophile-level sound in a portable form. It supported high-res audio formats, cementing iFi's reputation for offering premium portable devices.

2019
iFi introduced the xDSD DAC, bringing studio-quality sound to wireless Bluetooth systems. The xCAN amplifier also debuted, targeting both wired and wireless users with its compact, powerful design.

2020
The iFi Hip DAC was released, known for its sleek, flask-shaped design and powerful output. It became one of iFi’s most popular portable DACs due to its excellent sound quality and affordability.

2021
iFi expanded its portable DAC/amp lineup with the iFi GO Blu, a Bluetooth headphone amp that combined wireless connectivity with high-fidelity sound. Around this time, the xDSD Gryphon was also introduced, blending DAC and amplifier functions for high-end sound on the go.
